Summary
This release delivers a collection of UI, workflow, scheduling, and usability improvements designed to make everyday tasks in ShopBoss Pro more intuitive and efficient.
Highlights include improved customer appointment management, clearer save confirmations, a refreshed Quotes interface, streamlined Recommended Repairs entry, expanded Workflow controls, and easier access to Repair Order activity. We’ve also made several updates to settings and configuration areas to provide a more consistent experience throughout the platform.
Customer & Scheduling
- Improved Customer Schedule Events — The Edit Event experience has been enhanced with additional event details and improved editing behavior. Event timestamps now display in the user's local timezone, along with information about who created the event. Customer and vehicle information is protected from accidental changes when the appointment was originally created using the customer and vehicle selectors, while appointments created through other methods remain editable.
- Customer Save Confirmation — Added a Saved notification to the Customer Edit page so users receive immediate confirmation when a field has been successfully saved.
Quotes & Repair Orders
- Updated Quotes Interface — Refreshed the Quotes page to more closely align with the current Repair Order design, creating a more consistent experience across the application.
- Faster Recommended Repair Entry — Added a Save & Add Another option when adding Recommended Repairs, making it easier to enter multiple repairs without repeatedly reopening the workflow.
- RO Audit Log Access — Added an Audit Log option to the Repair Order dropdown, providing easier access to RO activity and history.
- Mileage Out Requirement — Updated the mileage requirements so Mileage Out must also be completed when moving a Repair Order to Final status.
Workflow & Settings
- New Show Customer Workflow Setting — Added a new Show Customer setting to Workflow, giving users additional control over customer visibility.
- Company Settings Improvements — Refined the Company Settings page to improve organization, consistency, and overall usability.
